What changed
Written for somebody who plays the game rather than somebody who reads the code. The same list is a feed if you would rather not come back.
0.99.0
- Stop the Human main-menu theme, the Orc camp drums and the third Human menu piece hitching the game: their notes are now made off to the side, and they hold far less memory.
- Stop the building preview and the burning-building crackle giving away enemy buildings and units hidden in fog; online, the preview counts gold already spent on orders in flight.
- Build your own first Farm, War Burrow or Graveyard: every match now starts without one. The Graveyard still takes lumber.
- Fix reloading mid-match in an online game: the page now asks the room again instead of giving up, and is never let back into a match it would break.
- Mark a seat the computer took over in the player list, play the leaving sound rather than the desync one when a room shuts you out, and count all players in a no-majority desync.
- See and hear hero spells land and end: Ground Stamp's strike, Sunder's broken shield, Warsong's roar and last note, Rally's chains, and cast sounds for Stand Together, Owl Spirit and the rest.
- Choose MUSIC: THEME or SHUFFLE in Settings: the main menu plays your race's theme, or any of the game's pieces in a random order.
- Hear new music: Human and Spooky main menu themes, three Orc camp pieces, and new match music for every race that changes every few minutes. MUSIC: THEME/SHUFFLE is in the pause menu too.
- Draw the selected unit's portrait, the building picture, the idle-worker button, the small buttons and the cooldown cover sharp on 125 %, 150 % and Android screens.
- Hear a hero revived at his hall say his own return line and the "hero revived" call, instead of his recruit line and a false level-up chime.
- Draw every command button pixel-sharp on Windows laptops scaled to 125 % or 150 % and on Android phones: icons and frames no longer blur or wobble.
- Stop new units shuffling forever at a crowded rally point: a unit that can get no closer settles where it stands within about 12 seconds.
