What changed
Written for somebody who plays the game rather than somebody who reads the code. The same list is a feed if you would rather not come back.
0.101.0
- See the whole pause menu in a window: on a desk it lays out in two columns, and any menu that still runs past the bottom shows an arrow saying there is more.
- Find the About page from the main menu: ABOUT opens it in a new browser tab, or in your browser from the desktop app, without leaving the game.
- Fix the command card running into the selection panel in a tall, narrow window: the card now steps down a size so both fit side by side.
- Get back into an online match after closing the tab or the app: open the game again and it asks "Rejoin your match?", or says plainly that the match has ended.
- See your hero at the top-left on a desk: portrait, health, mana and level; it flashes red when he is hit and counts down his revival. On a phone the hero badge now shows health and mana.
- Play day and night in every match: the custom game lobby no longer has a switch for it, as in Warcraft III, because the Spooky Guys are built around the night.
- Meet a man-sized Werewolf: villagers (15 damage, armour 2, speed 3.2) now lose to Footmen, even one on one; wolves (15, armour 4, speed 3.8) still beat them.
- Start a match in about a third of the wait: the battlefield opens once what is on the map is drawn, and the rest of each army is painted in the background without a stutter.
- Keep your mana and cooldown when a spell's target dies before it lands, and unsummon your own buildings without them counting as losses.
- Face a computer that remembers your army, scouts you again, trains what beats it (Human computers too) and won't march into the dark blind.
- Turn on COLORBLIND in Settings or the pause menu: health bars run orange to blue and the build tick turns blue, so red-green color blindness no longer hides them.
